Street, Area and High-Mast Lighting in Gauteng
@fnet Projects installs and maintains street, area and high-mast lighting for municipalities, estates, parking areas and industrial sites in Gauteng, from our base in Midrand. We handle the poles, luminaires, cabling and controls, and keep the lights working with planned maintenance and repairs.
Why outdoor lighting is specialist work
Outdoor lighting means working at height, running cables underground over long distances and choosing luminaires that stand up to weather and vandalism. It also has to put the right amount of light where people walk and drive, without wasting power.
Many older installations still use high-pressure sodium or metal halide lamps. Replacing them with LED luminaires usually cuts energy use and maintenance visits, and adding controls lets lights switch or dim on a schedule.

Questions
Do you work for municipalities and the public sector?
Yes. Public lighting is part of what @fnet Projects does for public sector clients, alongside estates, commercial and industrial sites.
Is it worth converting to LED?
In most cases, yes. LED luminaires use less energy and last longer than older lamp types, which means fewer maintenance visits. We compare the cost of a retrofit with your current running costs before you decide.
Can lights switch or dim automatically?
Yes. Photocells, timers and lighting controls can switch or dim lights on a schedule, which saves energy in areas that do not need full light all night.
